our ethos

stand out from the pack

The GLTG Team were bought together through a shared passion for responsible travel and the tourism industry, and share similar values and aspirations.  Our passion drives us. We love what we do and we are here for the right reasons. Always striving to #DoThingsDifferent”, we believe travel should be less about ticking boxes and more about authentic and immersive experiences.

We move fast, we respond quickly, and we are continuously searching for a better way to go above and beyond.  For us, our agents, our customers and for the world.

We have created and nurture a culture of equality, understanding, collaboration, innovation and professionalism, but we are also cheeky, adventurous and a little bit naughty!

LEADING THE WAY IN

RESPONSIBLE TRAVEL

At the very core of our business is our entire teams’ devotion to Responsible Travel with strong environmental sustainability ethics ingrained into all areas of our business and operations. From offsetting our transport carbon emissions since 2016, removing all single use plastics from operations in May 2018 and supporting the staff led initiative Trash Bags On Tour, we are well on the way to achieving our goal of becoming a global leader in Responsible Travel.

OUR COMMITMENT TO

WILDLIFE PROTECTION

The Get Lost Travel Group place a strong emphasis on incorporating Australian wildlife into our tours, as we believe this is one of the things that makes Australia so special. We believe it is our responsibility to help protect native wildlife which we achieve by supporting many programs committed to the conservation of natural, cultural and social assets.

OUR COMMITMENT TO INDIGENOUS

CULTURE & UNDERSTANDING

GLTG is committed to ensuring the traditional owners of the areas we travel through are not only recognised, but also benefit from visitation to their lands. We strive to remain actively engaged with the traditional owners and ensure all travellers receive accurate and insightful information about their culture and traditions which delivered respectfully from our experienced Guides.

OUR COMMITMENT TO EDUCATING

Our Passengers

We believe that sharing natural and culture history with our guests enriches their appreciation and enjoyment for the areas they explore and through our Interpretive Tours we aim for all of our guests to leave their tour with a greater understanding of the value and fragility of natural assets and how everyday practices, such as keeping to paths, taking rubbish away and not feeding wildlife, can prevent degradation to these areas. By providing guests with the importance of these practices, we hope they will take this message on with them as they continue to travel.
