AUTOPIA TOURS TAKE HOME GOLD AT RACV TOURISM AWARDS
The Get Lost Travel Group is excited to announce their flagship brand Autopia Tours has taken home
Gold at the RACV Victorian Tourism Awards for a second consecutive year. Winning in the highly
competitive Tour & Transport category, CEO Paul Beames collected the award at Crown last
Thursday night with Simon Quayle, who has worked at Autopia Tours for 17 years.
Paul said, “I am so proud of our tribe! We are honoured to win this award which we see as the
highest accolade in our industry. We were up against some other incredible Victorian operators and
now we are looking forward to representing Victoria at the Australia Tourism Awards in Tasmania
next year”.
Director Caitlin Sewell added, “I am so proud of the whole Autopia family. The road story tellers,
superstar reservations team, operational legends, sales and marketing gurus and the fix anything
mechanics. Without them none of this would be possible”.
With a goal of becoming a global leader in Responsible Travel, Autopia Tours launched a number of
environmental initiatives in 2018, including the removal of all single use plastics from operations,
becoming 100% carbon neutral, and supporting the staff led initiative Trash Bags on Tour.
